Tournament Admin

Entry Criteria

Players must be registered with a participant ticket for epic.FIFTEEN to take part in this tournament. Registration will close at 22:00 BST Thursday 16th July, players must be signed up to the tournament to participate, an event ticket alone doesn't guarantee tournament entry.

A briefing will take place with all players at the start which must be attended on Friday 10:30 BST.

Each player must have a personal Battle.net account. with hearthstone attached. 

 

Tournament Format

  • Group Stages into Double Elimination
  • Upper / Lower Consolation
  • Grand final

Conquest format

All matches will be best of 5. The first player to win 3 games within the match is considered the winner of the match and will advance. Each player must select the 3 unique classes they wish to play by using classban.com and selecting them as “bans” Also note you are only allowed one of each class in your created decks e.g. You are NOT allowed to have 2 hunter decks. Players may change the cards in their decks between matches. A player must win one game with each of his/her three decks to win the match. When a player wins a game, the deck used by the winning player cannot be used for the remainder of the match. The losing player can keep the same deck used or switch to a different one of their choice.

 

Servers

All games must be played on European Battle.net server.

 

Additional Software

The use of 3rd party deck tracking software is allowed, provided it doesn't do anything you couldn't do with pen and paper.

 

Admins

Players should always address the administrators in a polite and respectful way. An administrator has the final say in all matters.

An administrator reserves the right to change the rules under extreme circumstances.

All players must have read and understood these rules before entering the tournament. Not understanding or not knowing the rules, are not valid excuses for breaking them.

 

Timekeeping

Should a player be late (15 minutes) for the start of a tournament match, the player will forfeit the first game of the match.

Should a player be more than 30minutes late for the start of a tournament match, the player will forfeit the whole match.

The players are allowed a 5 minute break between the games in a tournament match. Administrators reserve the right to change these timings if circumstances require it.

Players must not start a match before schedule time without admin permission

 

Disconnects and Computer Failure

If a game is interrupted by a computer, network or software failure the game will be restarted.

 

Unsporting Behaviour & Misconduct

Should a player purposely attempt to sabotage the games, another player or an administrator in any way, the player will be disqualified.

Bad behaviour towards other players, casters or the administrators may result in a disqualification.

 

Cancellation of Tournament

Epic Gaming Ltd, reserves the right to withdraw this tournament should there be an insufficient number of participating teams.
